Vegas Craps is a member of the Microgaming family of games that endeavors to simulate the real-life experience of playing craps in a Las Vegas casino, and succeeds. The full complement of craps wagers is available, and players who are familiar with the game as it is played in a brick-and-mortar environment will find that playing the "virtual" version as it is provided by Vegas Craps will find this version of it much more appealing.
The game procedure itself allows the players to have the dice rolled for them, and to have situations repeat themselves. There are numerous bet controls available through the "Game Options" panel, and bets can be cleared, re-done, or whatever is necessary to facilitate the number and type of wagers you want to place on the table. Full Review - Vegas Craps (8.34)
Craps is played on a "layout" which consist of a number of different bets propositions. There are "Straight" bets in which you place a wager on a number that represents the numerical value of a dice combination (e.g. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10) There are also "Field" bets, "Pass Line" bets, "Don't Pass" bets, "Come" bets, "Any Craps" bets, "Hardway" bets and more.
You can place bets on anything that is available on the layout, including all the side bets. As the virtual "dice" are rolled, the dealer will announce what the results are, and you will be paid accordingly.
The "Help" files in this game have a good explanation of what all of these bets mean and how they are executed. Players have the ability, through the software, to keep track of the number and results of their rolls, and addition to much more sophisticated statistics. Sound and bet controls are also at the player's fingertips.
