Rudolph’s Revenge is different in another way as well. All the betting options are fixed by the game. The default coin denomination is 0.04. The player has to wager with all 50 paylines enabled and can wager only one coin per payline. Hence his total bet per spin is a compulsory 2.00 which is deducted from his balance before the spin.
Rudolph is the wild symbol. It doubles the payouts when it substitutes for another symbol in order to make a winning combination. Rudolph’s Revenge has both wild and scatter symbols, which have become mandatory. The wild symbol acts as a multiplier and also triggers the progressive jackpot, thus enhancing its value. Similarly the scatter symbol activates the free spins bonus round. Though the round will be hit less often, it offers a bonanza when hit. The bonus game on the second screen is missing, especially because the theme is suited to one.
Rudolph’s Revenge offers no betting option by fixing all the betting parameters like number of paylines, coin denomination and number of coins per payline. Hence the pleasure of tinkering around with the betting options is lost.
