Keno Odds and Info

Keno is a game of lottery that has taken the US by hold since the early 50's, all though it wasn't until recently that more casinos have the Keno game. Las Vegas and some of the other larger gambling towns had the Keno game, but smaller places did not. If you have not yet familiarized yourself with the Keno rules and how to play these odds may not be as much help to you as they would otherwise, though we will do our best to explain them.

In Keno you can play up to 20 numbers depending on the casino you are at or where you are online. Sometimes you can only play ten numbers. We are going to look at the odds of betting on 1 to 10 numbers in this article.

1 Number

In this table you see the probability that you will not get the number is 75 percent. That is very high odds against you. It also means that you shouldn't just depend on that one number. Instead if you want to have more success at winning you need to bet on more numbers. Let's look at the other tables now.

After studying these tables you can see where you might want to bet in order to win. The odds on not getting all ten numbers are pretty large. However, look back to playing only one number. The probability was 25 percent, where as the probability for ten numbers is 1.1221 e- 007. That is also a very large number.
