Realtime Gaming Baccarat Review

Baccarat is a game played between a designated "banker" and designated "player". The online casino player has to wager on the outcome of the game between the designated players. The player's current balance is shown at the bottom left corner. The chips for betting are on the right side of the table. The allowed betting range is from 1 to 250. The player has to place the chips on the "banker", "player" or "tie" area. Once the player places the wager and clicks the Deal button everything proceeds automatically. The cards are dealt from the shoe according to a specified system of rules, the hands are compared and the payouts made.

There is a Help button on the bottom right of the screen through which the detailed rules and procedures can be accessed. The Menu button on the bottom right contains the Options available to the player. The player can choose to play in full screen mode and with dealer voices enabled. The player can also adjust the sound volume and card dealing speed. On the left of the screen is a history button that tracks the wins history of the session.

Full Review - Realtime Gaming Baccarat (9.17)

The objective of Baccarat is to correctly guess the outcome of the hand played between the designated "banker" and "player". The player first decides whether he will bet on the "banker", "player" or "tie" by clicking on the corresponding area. He then decides on the wagered amount by clicking the chip(s) of the appropriate denomination. This moves the chips to the chosen bet area. Bets can be withdrawn by clicking on the chips wagered. By clicking the Deal button the required numbers of cards are dealt to the "banker" and the "player". The rules of dealing the cards are incorporated into the software and the player need not be bothered about these rules. The rules are given in the Help section for those who are interested.

The software automatically computes the values of the hands and displays them on the screen. The values lie between 0 and 9. The one with the higher hand value wins. If both have the same hand value then there is a tie. The player's payout depends on the wager he had placed and the outcome of the game. In order to ascertain the hand value the software utilizes the following procedure. The cards from 2 through 9 have their face value. 10s and the face cards have a value of 0. Aces have a value of 1. To ascertain the hand value the values of all the cards are added up and the tens digit is dropped.

If the player wants to continue with exactly the same wager and same amount then he should click the Rebet button. If the player wants to place the same wager, but with a different amount, then he should click on the appropriate chips. If the player wants to change the wager, then he should first click on the appropriate betting area and then on the appropriate chips.
