Full Review - Treasure Nile (8.58)

Treasure Nile, which was the first five-reel, nine-payline video slot ever produced by Microgaming, has a scatter, the Scarab symbol, and of course it can be anywhere on the five reels to complete winning scatter combinations as long as three or more of them show up on the five reels. When three or more Scarab symbols appear, you'll get a scatter payout.

Treasure Nile also has a wild symbol, the Wild Pyramids symbol. Wilds generally serve as a substitute to complete winning combinations for everything except for scatters. In this game, the wild does not serve as a multiplier for any of the winning combinations it is part of.

The coin size in Treasure Nile is fixed at 0.50. There are nine paylines and with a nine-coin limit, the maximum bet in the game is $4.50. You can affect a maximum bet at any time can get this maximum by clicking the "Bet Max" button at the bottom of the interface.

That's important to remember, because you have to have the maximum of nine coins bet and nine paylines enabled to be eligible for the progressive jackpot, which starts at $40,000 and goes from there, paying off at an average of seven times per month. Progressive jackpots are those that continue to accumulate, increasing more and more until somebody comes along and wins the prize.

You can win the progressive by achieving five Pharoahs on the NINTH payline. Jackpots of over a half million dollars have been won in the past. When a jackpot is won, everyone in the world who is playing the game is made aware of it, and it returns to its starting figure of $40,000.
