Zuma Slots has a Polynesian theme. There are a number of different Polynesian masks as the higher paying symbols on the reels. The lower paying symbols are the colorful high value card symbols crafted in Polynesian style. The reels are set in the background of a dense jungle. When the reels spin, the audio plays typical tribal music and chanting in the background.

The Zuma logo has the highest payouts. Five of these symbols on an enabled payline have a jackpot payout of 10,000 coins. The Zuma logo is also the wild symbol. If the player achieves a line win using a wild symbol, he is awarded a random multiplier ranging from 1 time to 5 times. The multiplier visually springs from the wild symbol. Only 1 multiplier is awarded to the total line payout, even if there are more than one wild symbols in that combination. However different line payouts are randomly awarded different multipliers.

Zuma Slots has a gamble game in which payouts can be multiplied. The player can set the default setting to this game being on, in which case he will be automatically taken to the gamble game.
