In an information release date October 6, 2010, the leading gaming software provider WagerWorks announced its partnership with major European operator William Hill through which it will supply premium online gaming content. William Hill started as a sports betting company and now processes over one million betting slips every day. In 2008 it established William Hill Online, which serves customers from more than 175 countries. Apart from online sports betting William Hill Online offers poker, bingo and casino services. In fact it has three online casino portals that are Casino, Vegas and Games. The WagerWorks online casino slots will be available at the Games portal via the Openbet Fixed Odds Gaming Framework.

William Hill Online has selected the premier and exclusive branded gaming content from the large WagerWorks portfolio. The titles that will grace the William Hill Games portal include Cleopatra, Monopoly with Pass "Go" Bonus, Monopoly on a Roll, Cluedo, Rainbow Riches Pots of Gold, Elvis Top 20, Cashino and Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition. The Monopoly games and Cluedo have been licensed from Hasbro and are the most popular board games ever.

Making the announcement about the agreement, Oliver Lofthouse, Director and General Manager at WagerWorks expressed his great pleasure and satisfaction. He pointed out that William Hill was one of the leading gaming operators and that WagerWorks was delighted to be working with them. Lofthouse was confident that the addition of the most popular WagerWorks titles with their proven market performance would add tremendous value to William Hill Games.

Colin Cole-Johnson, Gaming Director for William Hill, also released a statement on the occasion. He said, "Our aim is to grow the market share of our gaming sites at williamhill.com, not only in the United Kingdom, but to expand into new territories, particularly in Europe. The quality of the WagerWorks premium games content is second-to-none and I am sure that it will appeal to our existing players and assist us to continue to attract new customers."

WagerWorks is the online and mobile subsidiary of International Game Technology, more commonly referred to as IGT. IGT is the world's largest land based slot machine manufacturer and is quoted on the New York Stock Exchange. The evidence that the WagerWorks online slots are top quality comes from the fact that it received the "Slot Provider of the Year" award at the inaugural EGR b2b Supplier Awards in London this year. William Hill is the latest company in a long list of illustrious predecessors that have already signed up with WagerWorks for their top quality slot games this year. The other operators are Victor Chandler, Bet Fred, Palatial Leisure, Betfair and Parlay Games. And before the year is out many more will join.
