According to information released by WagerWorks a few days ago, it has entered into an agreement for supply of online gaming content with the leading United Kingdom based bookmaker Betfred. This is a feather in WagerWork's cap because Betfred is one of the biggest and most reputed independent bookmakers in the world. It operates land based betting through over 750 retail outlets and carries out online business through Betfred Online. The online business includes poker, casino, bingo and games, apart from sports betting. WagerWorks will offer its products to Betfred Games. This will be done through Finsoft, which is a platform partner of WagerWorks.

Nick Mounteer, Operations Director for Betfred Online explained the rationale behind this move. He said that the Betfred strategy is to continuously update and enhance its games portfolio so that its players are contented and spend more time at the Betfred portals. Instead of allowing them to go to different online casinos in search of the best games, Betfred brings the best games from different software providers to its portals. Mounteer added, " the decision to integrate WagerWorks games was, in that respect, an easy one. WagerWorks are widely regarded as one of the top games suppliers in the market and it makes perfect strategic sense to utilise their availability via the Finsoft platform."

Four of the most successful and most popular WagerWorks online slots games have already gone live at Betfred Games. These are Cleopatra, Monopoly with Pass "Go" Bonus, Cluedo and Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition. Monopoly and Cluedo are branded games developed under license from Hasbro. They are based on two of the most popular board games ever. The agreement envisages that more games will be added in due course. Some of the latest WagerWorks releases are White Orchid, Noah's Ark and Kitty Glitter.

Oliver Lofthouse, Director and General Manager at WagerWorks, expressed his delight and satisfaction at being chosen by Betfred to further their development strategy. He said, "As a key operator with a long established reputation for value and customer satisfaction, this agreement allows them to leverage the best games in the market. I am confident that WagerWorks games will add incremental value to Betfred and continue to give their players best of breed game content."

WagerWorks is the online and mobile subsidiary of International Game Technology (IGT). Their client list of over 25 online gaming operators reads like the Who's Who of United Kingdom gaming. Some of the big names include 888, Betfair, Bet365, Gala, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power, PartyGaming, Sky Vegas and Virgin Casino. Now Betfred has been added to that list as well.
