Vegas Strip Blackjack Review

The objective in blackjack is to get as hand with value closer to 21 than the value of the dealer's hand, without going over 21. The player's balance is shown at the bottom left corner. The chips are placed on the left side of the table. The minimum bet is 2 and the maximum bet is 200. Vegas Strip Blackjack is a multiplayer game and allows players to play up to 5 hands. After placing the wager the player clicks the 'deal' button. The cards are dealt and the player plays out his hand. If he does not go bust then the dealer plays out his hand as per the rules of the game. The payouts are automatically made.

Detailed rules can be accessed through the 'Help' button on the top toolbar. The 'Options' button in the bottom toolbar allows players to customize the playing area. By checking the game sound the player can hear the dealer's voice. By checking the background sound the player can listen to background music. The volume of both sounds can be adjusted. Checking the animation option allows the cards to be dealt one at a time at adjustable speeds. Disabling animation deals all the cards instantaneously. Read Full Review

Full Review - Vegas Strip Blackjack (9.50)

The player first decides on the coin denomination by clicking the appropriate chip. He then clicks on the betting area to move the chip there. He can click on more than one betting area to play multiple hands. By clicking the betting area again the player can increase the bet by the selected chip denomination. If he wants to increase the bet by another chip denomination he must repeat the procedure described above. Individual chips can be removed by right clicking on them. The entire wager can be removed by clicking on the 'clear' button.

By clicking on the 'deal' button two cards are dealt face up to the player and two cards are dealt to the dealer, one of which is face up. The player's hand value displayed. If the dealer's face a card is an ace or a 10 value card then the dealer checks for blackjack. If he has a blackjack then the deal is over. If not the player makes his moves. The common moves available to the player are 'hit' and 'stand'. Other moves available are 'split', 'double' and 'insurance'. If during play the player's hand value crosses 21 then the game ends and he loses his wager. If the player stops before crossing 21 then the dealer plays his hand according to the set rules of the game. If the dealer busts then the player wins. If the dealer does not bust then both hands are compared and whose hand is close to 21 is declared the winner.

If the player wants to play the next deal with exactly the same wager then he should click the 'rebet' button. The player can change the wagered amount by adding or subtracting chips as described earlier. Alternatively the player can clear the table by clicking on the 'clear' button and start afresh.
