Vampire Vixen Review

Vampire Vixen has a horror theme and the symbols on the reels reinforce this theme graphically. The Vixen is the wild symbol and she is really frightening. The scatter symbol is the haunted House with a full moon in the background and gravestones in the foreground. The other thematic symbols are the Wolf, Vial of blood and blood stained Brooch. The frightened Victim adds a special touch. The remaining symbols are high value cards from Ace to Nine.

Only the wild and scatter symbols are animated when they appear in winning combinations. However, the animations are excellent and use the audio visual capabilities to enhance the theme of the slot game. The Vixen lets out a scream and reveals her bloody teeth and bloodshot eyes. In the House symbol there is a clap of thunder and a flash of lightning that lights up the house and bats fly out. The other symbols only flash when in winning combinations. Vampire Vixen does not have any background music in the main game but has a vibrant background tune playing in the free spins. The usual game sounds and win sounds are also incorporated.

Vampire Vixen does not offer any progressive jackpot. Read Full Review

Full Review - Vampire Vixen (9.00)

In Vampire Vixen players can choose from a number of coin denominations. These are 0.01, 0.05, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00, 5.00 and 10.00. This should please both low rollers and high rollers despite being constrained to wager only one coin per payline. Players can enable up to 25 paylines. The prudent thing to do is to enable all paylines because pay table combinations pay out only on enabled paylines. The coin denomination and the number of paylines can be set using the appropriate buttons below the reels.

In Vampire Vixen the Vixen is the wild symbol. It substitutes for all symbols except the scatter symbol. If players get five Vixen symbols in an enabled payline they receive a payout of 4000 coins. This is the highest fixed jackpot. The Vixen symbol does not act as a multiplier. The House is the scatter symbol. Two or more scatter symbols appearing anywhere on the reels offer scatter payouts. The scatter payouts are multiplied by the total bet to convert coins to credits. The free spins bonus round is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. 10 free spins are awarded to the players at doubled payouts. The free spins round can be retriggered. However the best feature about this round is that selected symbols are changed to the wild Vixen symbol. This increases the number of winning combinations and results in more payouts.

A comprehensive Auto Play feature is available in this slot game. The player can set the number of auto spins and also the time between the spins. If the player wants to cash his winnings or limit his losses he can program the Auto Play to stop when preset limits are reached. These conditions include winning a jackpot, winning a specified amount in a spin, winning a cumulative specified amount and losing a cumulative specified amount.
