Fire Hawk Review

Fire Hawk from Vegas Technology is based on the theme of American Indians. There are not too many slot games with this theme and therefore Fire Hawk offers a refreshing newness. The reels are set in the background of an Indian settlement in a desolate landscape under orange skies. The Chief is the wild symbol and Fire Hawk is the scatter symbol. The other symbols are Squaw, Headdress, Drum and Pipe. All the symbols are well crafted and authentically reflect the American Indian culture. The Fire Hawk symbol of the hawk with wings spread out above the fire is awesome. The remaining symbols are the high value card symbols from Ace to Nine.

The animation in the wild and scatter symbols is appropriate to the theme and is audio visually pleasing. The face of the Chief gives way to a horde of Indians letting out war cries and performing a war dance around the fire. The hawk bursts into flames and flies away. However the other symbols do not exhibit any animation. The usual game audio sounds have been incorporated, but players can disable these if they want to. Read Full Review

Full Review - Fire Hawk (9.00)

Since Vegas Technology online casinos accept players from the United States, American players can place real money wagers on this game.

Fire Hawk is a 25 payline slot game. Players can play with fewer lines enabled but will not get paid for pay table combinations that appear on inactive paylines. The coin size spread is more than adequate. It starts from 0.01 and goes up to 10.00 with stops at regular intervals. The players can wager only one coin per payline. The line bet therefore ranges from 0.01 to 10.00. All line payouts are multiplied by the line bet to convert to credits. The total bet per spin ranges from 0.01 to 250.00. All scatter payouts are multiplied by the total bet to convert to credits.

The Chief is the wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter symbol. It appears on reels 2 and 4 only. In the main game it does not act as a multiplier. The Chief symbol does not offer any line payouts. The highest fixed jackpot is provided by the Squaw symbol. Aligning five of them in an enabled payline pays out 6000 coins. The Fire Hawk is the scatter symbols. Two or more Fire Hawk symbols anywhere on the reels lead to scatter payouts. The free games feature is triggered when three or more Fire Hawk symbols appear anywhere on the reels. This feature offers 20 free spins. In the free spins the payouts are not multiplied unless the Chief symbol comes to play. If the Chief symbol appears on reel 2 during free spins the payout is multiplied by 2. If the Chief symbol appears on reel 4 the payout is multiplied by 5. And if the Chief symbol appears on both reels 2 and 4 the payout is multiplied by 10. The free games feature can be re-triggered.

Fire Hawk has a comprehensive Auto Play feature that allows the player to set the number of auto spins and the time between the spins. The player can also enable a number of conditions, if any one of which is satisfied the Auto Play will automatically terminate.
