Two Hits on Mega Moolah Progressive Slot

Mega Moolah is a multi level progressive jackpot network from Microgaming. Within the last 24 hours the two top levels of Mega Moolah have been hit. The second highest level, Mega Moolah Major, was hit first at $47,081. Within hours the highest level, Mega Moolah, was hit for $1,242,587.

A million dollar plus hit a great event for any other progressive jackpot, but for Mega Moolah it is marginally above its reset value. It would seem that Mega Moolah is belying its earlier expectations and hitting more frequently for comparatively smaller amounts. Mega Moolah was first released as a standalone progressive jackpot slot game in November 2006. Almost 2 years ago it was hit for the first time for $4.3 million. This was followed by successively increasing hits of $5.6 million and $6.4 million raising expectations sky high. However after that there have been two hits, including the current one, at just above $1 million. This illustrates that the nature of slot games truly random and players would try to read trends and patterns are actually reading what is not there.

The Mega Moolah Major jackpot level resets at $10,000. In the last 365 days Mega Moolah Major has hit over 80 times at an average of a hit every four days. Its average payout has been around $33,000. Hence the current hit of Mega Moolah Major was more true to form. The third level of the Mega Moolah progressive slot is Mega Moolah Minor, which resets at $100 and is hit every few hours. The smallest jackpot level is Mega Moolah Mini, which resets at $10 and is being hit all the time.

Following the success of the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot Microgaming decided to convert it to a progressive jackpot network. Some of their popular slot games were revamped and connected to the Mega Moolah network. The three online slots that have been added on in the last one year are Five Reel Drive, Summertime and Isis. Along with the original Mega Moolah, sometimes referred to as Mega Moolah Classic, the number of games on the network now stands at four. Another addition is expected soon.

At the beginning of 2009 the combined pool of Microgaming progressive jackpots stood at over $7 million. Some big hits have been registered this year and the pool has come down to just over $2 million. The other progressive jackpot online slot games from Microgaming to watch out for are King Cashalot and Major Millions. King Cashalot currently stands at over $500k and Major Millions currently stands at over $300k.

All Microgaming progressive jackpots, including Mega Moolah, can be played at Microgaming online casinos. CasinoAdvisor recommends Platinum Play, All Slots, Lucky Nugget and Spin Palace.

I like this game as well but I only like playing it when the jackpot was like it was that one time that Leslie is describing over 5 Million. I want to win the big jackpot :)

Yeah I remember when Mega Moolah was like a 5M+ and I was playing it like crazy but wasn't able to hit any big wins. Oh well some lucky player was and I guess for that I have to be grateful... yeah right, lol... should have been me!
