Three Casino Games That Seem Harder Than They Really Are

There's something kind of interesting that happens when it comes to classic casino titles. A lot of these games are held in contrast to modern video slots, and in that light, they can seem much harder to learn how to play than they actually are. The reason for this is that video slots are extremely easy to learn how to play since you mostly just choose your bet size and press a button, and it's not so much that the classic games are that much more difficult. Here we want to look at three casino games that can seem harder than they really are.

The first game we're going to consider is roulette. There's a lot going on when it comes to a roulette table, but it's actually a very easy game to learn. Ignore the fact that there are tons of available bets because roulette just comes down to guessing which number is going to come up. You can bet on groups of numbers like even, odd, red or black. You can also bet on columns or rows of numbers. If you want a high level of risk with a high level of reward, then you can make a straight-up bet on a single number as well.

Next up is Baccarat. Baccarat is an extremely good example of a game that's literally just as easy to play as video slots. All you do in this game is choose one of three bets, one of which you should never make under any circumstances, and then the dealer handles the rest. It's not a strategy game like blackjack that's difficult and tricky to learn. In fact, if you always bet on the banker or player hand, you'll have a house advantage of less than 1.5 percent without having to make any real decisions.

Finally we have craps. Craps is probably the most complicated casino game that there is, but there are ways to start off with it that are easy to learn. If you just follow the pass line or don't pass line bet, then you'll be able to learn how the basic gameplay works while enjoying a low-house advantage bet. As difficult as this game can seem at times, it actually operates off of a very simple principle of betting on the outcome of the next throw of dice.
