Some individuals like to take more risk in a game. This is because they can afford the bets and they like to have that thrill of excitement. Taking a high risk strategy is not for the weak hearted or those who can't afford to gamble. Most of the time, it is the high rollers who end up taking the risks. There has been a study done on strategy in which you take more of a risk. We will be looking at this strategy below to help you determine if it is something you want to consider. Just remember that in Sic Bo the game is completely random. This means the dice rolls are unpredictable so you could end up losing a lot with this type of strategy.

In this strategy we are going to use an example. We have discovered that if you bet on 8, 9, 12, 13 and doubles you could win twice in the same spin. This is a big if though, so don't take this as the perfect strategy.

So in our example we are saying a bet on 8 should not be included on a double 4, 5, or 6. In other words if you think you will roll two 4's then you can't bet on 8 as being the total of three dice. The dice will be higher than 8. If you want to bet on 8 as the total or a small bet then you can say the double could be a 1, 2, or 3.

  1. 3 units on 8 and 2 units on double meaning 1, 2, or 3 for 9 in total

  2. 3 units on 9 and 2 on double meaning 2, 3, 4 with 9 total

  3. 3 units on 12 and 2 on double meaning 3, 4, and 5 for 9 total.

The above is explaining if you bet three dice for a total of 9 you could do a double bet resulting in a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. It just means that to bet on 9 being the outcome any of those numbers could be a double on the dice. So you would have two 3's and you could still get a total of nine.

Betting for the high risk strategy is pretty much the same as any other in which you bet for a cover. You will place two or three bets in which you determine the outcome you think will occur based on probabilities. If you are correct then you win twice. However, if you fail you either lose twice or win one for a potential even money.

It is up to you how much to risk in any game. With Sic Bo the dice are going to be random. In most cases you are using a cup or basket to toss the dice around and then let them loose. There is no way to win a hundred percent of the time unless you are cheating with loaded dice. So take caution in how you bet.
