Sic Bo Strategy for More Risk

Sic Bo is not a very complicated game once you learn the betting options you will have. Most of our strategies are based on taking less risk so that you win more often, but in this strategy we are looking at the option of spending a little more. In Sic Bo you can place more than just one bet, this means you can place bets to try and cover other wagers.

If this goes wrong you would be out two or three bets rather than just the one, so it is considered more risk and not the best strategy to try. Here is how it would work. You will decide that one die is going to roll a certain number. For example say two dice are going to roll a one. You would want to be on the double one as well as on the small bet. At most the three dice combined would total 8. If you are right and the dice roll two ones and another number you have won both bets. However, if only one die rolls a one you would lose the double bet. The double bet is going to pay out more money than the small bet. However, you can wager the same amount on both bets. So, if you wager $5 each for the bets and you get even money for the small bet you haven't lost any money, but nor have you gained.

In this strategy you are placing what can be known as a cover bet. The cover bet basically means you will not lose money. It is up to you in how you want to bet. The odds are going to differ for each bet that you place. For example if you bet on 9 or 12 as being the specific outcome of a three dice total you are more likely to win that bet. The odds are 15 to 2 with a payout of 7 to 1. That is a pretty good base.

The medium risk strategy is supposed to allow for a small number of lost bets, and indeed if you cover yourself properly you can have a better return. The trouble is your cover bet may be incorrect as well. Let's go back to the example. We said two dice would roll a 1, so we placed the double bet along with the small bet. If we were wrong and only one die rolled a one there is every possibility that the small bet would be wrong. The small bet must come under 10. That means if you rolled two sixes and a one you would also lose the small bet. There is a significant increase in losses when you look at it from that angle.

If you want to try risking more you need to be prepared. This means you bring only the amount you are willing to lose into the casino. This should be what you can afford to play with.
