Rival Gaming Revamps Web Site

Online gaming software providers as such do not deal directly with casino players. They offer their products and services to gaming operators who reach out to the Internet gaming markets. But it is in the interest of the software providers to be aware of the pulse of the market and to create their own brand equity independent of the gaming operators. It is with objective that Rival Gaming has recently revamped and updated its web site rivalpowered.com.

It is apparent that the changes have made the web site more user-friendly. The news about Rival Gaming is more prominently displayed on the Home Page. And the news has been updated. All the leading online gaming software providers use this section to keep the players abreast of their latest developments. This needs updating on a continuous basis and hopefully Rival Gaming will do that. The news section at Rival Gaming predominantly provides information on new games releases and new gaming operators. One of the interesting news items is that Rival will be offering its i-slots to selected clients of Gaming Technology by the third quarter of 2010.

The complete list of Rival Gaming games has been provided in the Games section, which can be accessed from the Home Page. The games are divided into the following categories: 3 Reel Slots, 5 Reel Slots, i-Slots, Table Games, Video Poker, Specialty and Progressives. Each subsection provides a screen shot of the games but there is no text information provided. Information on the latest releases can only be had by scrolling down the news page.

Players also like to know which the gaming operators who have licensed the software are. Therefore the new Rival Gaming web site provides a comprehensive listing of its licensees under the section Partners. The bright and colorful logos of each of the Rival gaming operators are displayed. These provide links to the home pages of the online casinos. Hence players can browse through all Rival Gaming casinos without having to search for them on the Internet. Casino operators who are desirous of tying up with Rival Gaming can contact the software provider through the online form on the web site. All the information needed by Rival Gaming to consider the application has been clearly specified on the form and this should make things easier.

The earlier Rival Gaming web site contained detailed information about the software, in particular about its administrative and security features. This information seems to have been removed from the new web site. It has been replaced by brief About Rival and Business Service sections that really do not help in distinguishing Rival gaming from its competitors.

Not that I really remember what their old website looks like but this new website definitely looks new and improved in comparison.
