Realtime Gaming online casinos are more dominant then ever.

Pros: Several online casinos to choose from, they now offer tournaments, much bigger brands.
Cons: Cannot download multiple games simultaneously.

Realtime Gaming casinos weren't really all that recommended for the longest time which is probably one of the main reasons why I hadn't played with them for some time. I really started getting interested once again in RTG casinos after seeing how many of the casinos out there these days especially those that accept players from the United States there actually were. It seems as though almost every new online casino that's coming to market is an RTG casino. Perhaps the casino owners who use their software are just more savvy at marketing their casinos or something but it's just an observation that I made.

There are several positive aspects to the Realtime Gaming online casino software as far as what I can see from the software client itself. Firstly they have a great spread of games. As a provider that's been in business for many years they have continued to grow and elaborate on their catalog of games now featuring I beleive over 100 casino games from which to choose from and play. They offer a really good selection of slots games to choose from as well many of which offer a progressive jackpot component directly within the game. I think it's a great feature to have and definitely makes the games more interesting to play. Also their blackjack and video poker games are very good as well. Regardless of what your game may be though you're very likely to find it at RTG powered online casinos.

The brands that are now operating on their platform seem to be pretty big brands with big followings both in terms of what I see posted here on Casino Advisor as well as other sites. Rushmore which is one of the online casinos that I currently play at is very good and boasts characteristics of a bigger brands which is comforting to me when I play there!

The downside to their software which is something that surprises me that they haven't addressed yet is that when you enter into the casino the games need to be downloaded one by one but more importantly you cannot download games in the background but rather have to download them one at a time and wait for a game that you click on to download and complete before you can either play that game or even play another game. Systems where you can play while games are downloading in the background are far better.

They sure are more dominant and it's 100% associated to the fact that Microgaming, Cryptologic and Playtech no longer operate in the US market. If they were still able to accept players from the United States there's no way that Realtime Gaming would be where they are today. They really caught a lucky break with the passing of the UIGEA.
