Playtech To Launch Superman Branded Online Slots

Playtech has just issued a press release that will gladden the hearts of all players at its online casinos. The leading software provider has signed a multi-year licensing deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment. The objective is to develop four iconic DC Comics branded video slots based on popular film and television properties. The games will be omni-channel casino games and will start out this year.

Three of the titles feature Superman. These are Superman I (1978), Superman II (1980) and Man of Steel (2013). The fourth branded slot will be Green Lantern (2011). All four super hero movies have been distributed by Warner Bros. Playtech's content studios all across the globe have been assigned tasks to work on, design, develop and deploy games based on these coveted brands owned by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

Playtech CEO Mor Weizer released a statement on this occasion. He said, “Playtech's best performing in-house and premium branded casino slot content will be further strengthened through our partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and the launch of the DC Comics branded games.” He added that Playtech licensed online casinos will benefit from the new releases. Weizer also said that Playtech looked forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The whole Playtech family is very excited to see the outcome of the DC Comics branded super hero video slots when they are delivered later this year. Playtech is one of the exhibitors at ICE 2016. The expo runs between February 2 and February 4. Visitors will be able to see the original costumes from the blockbuster action-adventure film Man of Steel, which will no doubt be used in the online slot game.

DC Comics super hero slot games are at the moment available in the portfolios of two other online casino software providers. One of them is Cryptologic that has titles featuring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash Velocity.
