Players interested in participating in online tournaments based on casino games other than slots do not have that many choices. Fortunately the English Harbour group offers regular and excellent online tournaments based on roulette, blackjack and video poker.

The roulette online tournaments are known as The Wheel Deal and are based on European Roulette. Each tournament spans a week. The current tournament will end on February 11 and the next one will begin the same day. The prize pool consists of the pot collected, which is shared by the top 10 players. The player in the first place wins 30% of the pot, the player in the second place wins 20% of the pot and the player in the third place wins 15% of the pot. Then the next two players share 15% of the pot and finally the next five players share 20% of the pot. The entry fee is $5 and players can rebuy for $5. Since unlimited numbers of rebuys are allowed the pot gets a boost. One advantage of these roulette tournaments is that they do not draw very high traffic and this makes it easier to break into the prize pool.

The online casinos of the English Harbour group offer two blackjack online tournaments every week. Both are played on Blackjack Vegas Strip. One of these is played from Mondays to Thursdays and is known as the Head2Head. This is played for the pot, which is shared by the top 20 players. The entry fee is $5. Despite having a higher entry fee of $10, the Weekend Blackjack Classic is the more popular online tournament. This is because it has a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000. 20 players share the prize pool with the top winner getting $2,500. The next round of the Weekend Blackjack Classic will begin on Friday February 12 and registrations have started piling in.

In video poker also there are two tournaments held every week. But the English Harbour group has recently added a third video poker online tournament that spans the entire month. This is the Winter 100 Hand. It is played on the 100 Hand version of Deuces Wild and is therefore not for the faint hearted. This tournament also offers the collected pot as the prize pool, but since it is a month long tournament the pot can be quite attractive. The Winter 100 Hand is only in its second week and the pot collected so far is in excess of $1,300. The pot will be shared by 20 players.

The online casinos of the English Harbour group are powered by software from Vegas Technology and are licensed in the gambling jurisdiction of Antigua. Some of the leading brands of this group are VIP Slots Casino, Millionaire Casino, English Harbour Casino and Caribbean Gold Casino.

That's great it's not that often that I've ever seen or heard of Vegas Technologies casinos offering anything but slots type tournaments.
