New Online Casino Payment Options

As online casinos continue to proliferate, both in number and in terms of traffic, more and more online casino payment options are emerging. The increased competition in the online casino banking space is proving beneficial to players, because not only does it allow players to fine-tune their choices but it also acts to keep the costs down. Two of the latest online casino payment options are GoldPay and I-Point. Both these options have their own advantages, but they also have one common advantage. Both options are available to players from the United States. This is good news for American players who are suffering from increased credit cards rejections.

GoldPay is an e-wallet. Online players first have to open an account at GoldPay. Five options are available to them by which they can transfer funds to these accounts. These options are MoneyGram, Western Union, Bank Wire, Xoom and eCheck. Once players a select the funding option suitable for them GoldPay send them an e-mail with detailed instructions for completing the transaction. Once the transaction is complete GoldPay informs the players that the accounts have been funded and players can then make deposits at the online casinos that accept GoldPay as a payment option. Withdrawals can be made from online casinos to the GoldPay accounts. Players can withdraw funds from the GoldPay accounts using MoneyGram, Western Union or Bank Wire.

GoldPay offers several advantages. The transactions at GoldPay are completely private and secure and players need not provide personal financial information to GoldPay. The transactions take place instantaneously. Payment can be remitted from the GoldPay accounts to anyone that has an e-mail address. Therefore apart from funding online casinos this payment option allows players to remit funds to friends and family and make other online purchases.

I-Point is also an e-wallet, but it functions in a slightly different manner from the usual e-wallets. I-Point can be funded using credit cards. However the credit card information is not stored on the online servers of I-Point. Therefore even if the servers are hacked into the credit card information will not be available to the hacker. The second difference is more important. The method of remitting funds to online casinos is completely different. When a player want to make a deposit at an online casino the I-point web site releases a confirmation code and a telephone number. Using the mobile telephone number that the player has registered with at I-point, he has to call the given telephone number and convey the confirmation code. This will enable the required funds to be transferred to the online casino. Since the transfer of funds is controlled through mobile phones, I-point is the preferred choice for mobile casinos.

Vegas Casino Online is a popular Real Time Gaming online casino that accepts payments through both GoldPay and I-point.

I don't really think that this is a prominent online casino banking option and is a fairly new one as well. Players should be skeptical about using such a payment option IMO.

Sweet... it's always great to see when new banking options come about that make our lives easier. Too bad it wasn't like the good ol' days though where Paypal was a viable deposit option and credit card deposits at online casinos were hassle free!

Sounds pretty interesting I suppose the more payment options there are out there the longer this industry is going to last if things continue to worsen in the United States with regards to the UIGEA and pushing forward towards making banks actually stop all credit card transactions. I personally don't think that it's going to happen.
