Pros: Microgaming game.
Cons: Game is 15 lines but I think they could have upped it for this one to 20 - 30 lines.
With every release of new games these days from Microgaming it would seem as though they're getting better and better at what they're doing. Not to say they weren't doing a great job before but they finally seem to be taking feedback from us players and implementing them into their games.
The Winter Gold game is among the newest of the Microgaming online casino video slots games as of the writing of this mini review on the game. To me it would seem as though it's one of the first few games that they've actually begun designing to be suitable for the 1024x768 resolution which all of their online casino software clients are operating in now a days. The graphics at the default resolution now are shape then in all of their older games you'll find. So moving forward I beleive that all of their games will be optimized for this new resolution with shape richer graphics. It does obviously come at a toll which is the fact that the size of the game is quite a bit larger which is definitely noticeable in this game I found even on a really fast connection.
Everything from the graphics and well indicated competitors in the game for sports (ie. ski jumper, biathlon, speed skater, etc...) to the audio and sound fx in the game are really good and nothing sort of what's expected from Microgaming these days. The bonus wheel bonus round in the game is really something neat as well which you don't see that often in online slots games with multiple outcomes for several different bonus features that can be entered into from here. For a game with a pretty intense and great bonus round it's surprising to see that the 5 wild jackpot is still relatively high in this game at 5000 coins which is another attractive and appealing aspect to the game. If you're looking to get into the spirit of the Olympics then this game is a great game that you should really check out and play!
