Microgaming offers three Texas Hold’em based casino poker games at its online casinos. Texas Hold’em Bonus and Triple Action Hold’em are the more popular and complex ones. Triple Pocket Hold’em Poker is a simpler and fast paced game especially suited for new players, because there is no intermediate betting. The game is listed in the Other sub category of More Table Games in the Games Menu. It can be played at online casinos like Blackjack Ballroom, All Slots and Vegas Palms.

You place the ante wager and are dealt the two pocket cards. You can reject the first two sets of pocket cards dealt to you, but then have to accept the third set by default. This is reason that the online casino poker game is called Triple Pocket Hold’em Poker. The pocket cards rejected by you automatically go to the dealer. So you not only get rid of bad pocket cards but ensure that they go to the dealer. To compensate for this massive advantage you are required to play against two dealer hands and must beat both of them. Once your pocket cards are settled, the dealer is dealt pocket cards to his hands if required. If have rejected both your options, then there is no need to deal fresh pocket cards to the dealer. If you have rejected only one of your options then one set of pocket cards are dealt to the dealer. If you have accepted the first pocket cards dealt to you then two sets of pocket cars will be dealt to the dealer.

Then the community cards are dealt on the table. First the three flop cards are dealt, then the turn and finally the river. Burn cards are removed in between as in a real poker game. There is no option to call or raise at any stage. You must have noticed that there was no option to fold. Your only decision after placing the ante bet is to accept or reject the first two sets of pocket cards.

The best ranking poker hand for you and for both dealer hands is automatically indicated by the software. If even one of the dealer hands is higher ranked then your hand, you lose the ante bet. If both the dealer hands are of the same rank as your hand then the bet pushes. If your hand beats both the dealer hands then you are paid even money.

There is a bonus payout as well for which no additional bet is required. Your hand ranked at flush or higher is eligible for the bonus payout. It starts at 2 to 1 for flush and goes to 50 to 1 for royal flush.
