Pros: Fun, new features & innovative game for Microgaming
Cons: Could be some higher mid-range payline wins.
A very interesting game and quite different from other Microgaming games from what I've seen in terms of the bonus feature. The Rat Pack video slot game features a bonus round that's unlike any others that I've seen developed by Microgaming. In the free spins there's a nudge feature that will hold the gold record symbol each time the reels spin... So all you need it to capture one record symbol in The Rat Pack in order to hold and spin again. This way the game continues to spin for several rounds until no disks land on the reel. It's very exciting free spins bonus round and very innovative in comparison to other free spins bonus round developed by software providers such as RTG which can be quite boring.
Another really cool aspect to this game is that when you win over and above a certain number of credits there's a rainfall of gold coins that animate on the screen to emphasize your big win...
The music and audio in the game is average I mean since they're playing off the concept of the legendary Rat Pack they could have done a much better job with the audio and sound within this game. The only other thing I think with this game is that they could have more mid-range payline wins which I believe would make the game a bit more exciting while playing and waiting to get into the bonus round.
