This was the 29th time the Mega Moolah jackpot has been won and is the second largest hit ever. It narrowly eclipsed the 11,609,942 payout in August this year. The biggest win on Mega Moolah Progressive was for 13.2 million in October 2015. A great feature about this win was that the player was wagering in British pounds. This was the largest online progressive jackpot win ever when converted to equivalent currency.

The presses have been stopped to report another Mega Moolah progressive hit barely 4 hours before the time of writing. The amount won was 5,633,226. No other details like currency or player name or online casino are known as yet. One thing can be deduced. The win was not in British pounds because the progressive jackpot ticker was reset to just over 2 million.

The other popular Microgaming progressive jackpot Major Millions was hit about three weeks ago for £1,185,047. This was the third biggest hit ever on this progressive slot.
