Eagle's Wings Review

Eagle’s Wings is a visually appealing slot game. The excitement begins with the breath taking introductory clip that shows the flight of the eagle in the clear skies and over snow capped mountains, coniferous forests and lakes, ending with a close up view of the eagle. A sub text of the theme is the enmity between the eagle and the salmon that reflects in various aspects of the slot game. Another sub text is the association of the eagle with American Indians. There are two eagle symbols. One shows a close up of the bird and the other of the bird in flight. The third thematic symbol shows fledgling eagles in their nest. The fourth thematic symbol shows the salmon. The high value card symbols from Ace to Jack carry eagle wing feathers in the style of the Indian’s head dress. The Eagle’s Wing logo is the wild symbol. The Lucky Eagle Coin scatter symbol is very interesting. It has the motifs of an eagle and a salmon crafted in Indian style.

The animations follow up from the introductory clip. The eagle in flight swoops down on a river and grabs a salmon in its claws before soaring again. Full Review - Eagle's Wings (8.86)

Eagle’s Wings is a 25 payline slot game. A player can wager up to 5 coins per payline. The permitted coin denominations are 0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20 and 0.25. These betting parameters lead to a total bet range of 1 coin to 125 coins or 0.01 credits to 31.25 credits. This is not a range that will attract many high rollers.

The Eagle’s Wings logo is the wild symbol. It substitutes for all other symbols except the scatter symbol. It also doubles payouts when it assists in making a winning combination. The biggest advantage of this wild symbol is that it can appear in stacks of two or three on the reel. A stack of three wild symbols on the first or second reel can lead to huge payouts. Lucky Eagle Coin is the scatter symbol. Surprisingly it does not offer scatter payouts. Three or more Lucky Eagle Coins anywhere on the reels trigger the free spins bonus round. Players have to pick on of the Coins in order to find out how many free spins will be awarded. The maximum number is 60. All payouts in the free spins bonus round will be three times that shown in the payout table. The winnings in this bonus round are capped at 15,000 coins. Eagle’s Wings does not have a bonus game on the second screen or a progressive jackpot.

Eagle’s Wings offers the characteristic Microgaming Auto Play feature, which can be accessed only in the Expert Mode.
