Software (9)

There is a lot to coordinate in this piece of software, and Microgaming, the designer of Cashapillar, does it quite well. Remember that there are 100 paylines in the game, and a lot of options available to you. Microgaming believes that you should have the chance to create whatever atmosphere you want, so they make the soundtrack fully adjustable. Convenience is also very important, so the AutoPlay function gives you the option of playing the game relatively "automatically." A stats package (albeit a light one) is also available if you want to keep track of your play. It's user-friendly and easily navigable.

Easy to Understand (8)

The most complicated part of the game is that there are 100 paylines, and you can choose any number of those paylines to enable. It is obviously hard to keep track of which ones you have going and which ones you don't, so there might be some confusion in the end about why a certain combination didn't cash in. Of course, you can simplify things by clicking the orange "Bet Max" button at the bottom of the interface, at which point all of the paylines will be accounted for.

Graphics & Sounds (8)

The graphics are a little problematic, in the sense that the symbols carry great detail with them, and they tend to be a little busy, although to be fair, it's not that difficult to tell which one is which, once you get the hang of it. It's nice artwork, and the graphics also lend themselves to the user-friendliness of the site, because they are well arranged and easy to find. There is a graphic of each of the 100 paylines, which is available if you really wish to go through the whole thing. Sounds are fully adjustable - they are the game sounds, win sounds and background sounds. You can switch off the entire soundtrack if you so wish.

Theme and Concept (8)

s pretty simple - little crawly creatures. There are several symbols that fit the game, though we are not sure what the King, Queen, Jack and Ace are doing in there, except just to be generic. The overriding identifying factor of this game is the fact that it has 100 paylines.

Game Features (9)

Microgaming offers the opportunity to take advantage of certain player options in this game, and one of them is QuickSpin, which actually accelerates the speed of the spinning of the reels, which allows you to get across more action in a shorter period of time. AutoPlay lets you play the game with a minimum of interactivity with the casino software. The Free Spins Bonus Game offers 15 free spins, the chance to win more spins, and a maximum win of 6 million coins. There is also a Gamble Bonus Game, which is always a nice addition. All in all, nice features.

Betting Options (9)

Cashapillar has a minimum coin size of .01, with a maximum of 0.02. That is not much of a bet spread, but obviously it is offset by the fact that there are 100 paylines in the game, so the maximum bet is 1000 coins. That affords quite a bit of room and a lot of ways to win.

Jackpots (7)

The jackpots as they concern the regular symbols in this game are rather low. The Cashapillar symbol brings 1000 coins for getting five in an enabled payline; the next highest of these payouts is for the Lady Bug, which is 400. the absolute most coins you could win when playing the Free Spins Game is 6 million, and that isn't too bad.
