Microgaming Announces Playboy Gold Branded Online Slot

A fantastic announcement from Microgaming has just been released. The leading online casino games supplier is strengthening its brand partnership with Playboy through a new online slot. Players at online casinos like Royal Vegas and Spin Palace are already familiar with the existing two initiatives between Playboy and Microgaming. The first is the enormously popular original Playboy branded slot that launched five years ago. The second is the online casino industry’s first branded live casino that has dealers wearing the iconic Playboy Bunny costumes.

Now, Microgaming is extending the brand partnership with a new online slot titled Playboy Gold. Very little has been revealed about this new game in the press release. The slot machine will have a new 6-reels format with a host of base game and bonus features to keep players entertained. The iconic and global brand equity will be exploited to the fullest. The game is hosted by Playmates Raquel and Audrey and delivers non-stop action. Playboy Gold will go live exclusively at Microgaming online casinos and the Quickfire platform on March 7.

Unlike the original Playboy slot that was directly developed by Microgaming, Playboy Gold has been developed by Triple Edge Studios. This is a new independent studio that is providing exclusive content to Microgaming, like Just For The Win and Rabcat Gaming. Triple Edge Studios will officially launch at ICE in February. More information on Playboy Gold will be available after the ICE Totally Gaming 2018 expo that will take place from February 6 to February 8 in London.

Valerie Golson, Playboy’s Senior Vice President of Gaming and Location Based Entertainment, had something to say on the occasion. For decades, gaming has been one of the most popular and iconic parts of the Playboy Lifestyle. Playboy has always offered unique and exciting take on the world of gaming. She added, “We’re thrilled to be working with Microgaming to expand our partnership and introduce a new gaming experience for players around the world.”

David Reynolds, Games Publisher at Microgaming, has also expressed his pleasure at working with Playboy again. He said that Triple Edge Studios has worked tirelessly to bring the brand to life in Playboy Gold. He added, “We are excited for the game’s launch and to be unveiling the title at the industry’s biggest trade show!” Meanwhile players can renew their acquaintances with the earlier Playmates Kimi, Sofia, Ashley and Jillian through the free spins feature in the original Playboy video slot.
