Microgaming is one online gaming software provider that announces the launch of its new games a few weeks in advance. The previews released add to the expectations and players at Microgaming online casinos eagerly await the release date. For December 2009 Microgaming has announced the launch of three video slots and a table game. The online slot game Scrooge appears to be most interesting. It does not have a Christmas theme but it does have a Christmas connection. It is based on the miserly character in the Charles Dickens popular novel "A Christmas Carol". Scrooge is far from being a miserly slot game. The Scrooge symbol is itself the wild symbol and the online slot offers up to 50,000 in the base game, 100,000 in the free spins bonus round and 5,000 in the Christmas Dinner bonus round. The free spins bonus round is ingenious and has a Christmas connection of its own. Clicking on a winning symbol adds either one free spin to a free spins counter or one day to a calendar that counts down to Christmas. When the date on the calendar reaches December 25 the free spins bonus round is triggered with the number of free spins in the counter. This is a perfect Christmas Day present.
Buffet Bonanza is a gourmet's delight with symbols like roasts, lobsters, salads and deserts. The highlight of this 5 reel and 25 payline online slot game is the Buffet Bonanza bonus round in which the wild Diner symbol gets stacked. There is a pie fight that converts the symbols on which the pies land into the Diner symbols. The Buffet Bonanza Logo triggers the free spins bonus round in which all payouts are doubled and wild symbols are added to reels 2 and 4 during the free spins.
Tribal Treasure has symbols crafted in comical style but there is nothing funny about the payouts. It offers a payout of up to 20,000 in the base game and a treasure trove of up to 100,000 in the free spins because the free spins multiply the payout five times. The scrooge game and the three card rummy games are the only ones of these in this latest batch of Microgaming games that I think that I'd be interested in playing to be honest they look both visually appealing to play and seem like games that I'd want to play. I'm not a big fan of the format of the other Microgaming games that are presented here and don't think they're really games that I'd be all that keen on playing.

All of these Microgaming games that they're going to release next month seem really nice and I think that I'll be giving each and every one of them a try especially the Scooge game which I think definitely looks to be the best of the bunch and will certainly help get this old fart (me) back into the spirit of x-mas.
