Certainly it is a nice achievement of software to construct a game by which the player is involved with 100 hands at once. It is innovative, different and a good concept coming from Microgaming, which is recognized widely as the world's leader when it comes to online gaming software.

No, the 100 Play Power Poker is not the easiest thing to grasp. It could take a few go-arounds before coming to a complete understanding of what is going on. And perhaps because there is so much going on this may not be the ideal game with which to be introduced to the game of poker. However, anyone who is familiar with Hold'em should be able to catch, since you are playing with community cards and looking for as many hands as possible that can be made with those cards.

The sounds are adjustable; you can turn the game sounds, win sounds and background sounds on or off at will. The graphics are sharp, in their own way, but it can be difficult to see then hands that are laid out on the screen because they are so small; in fact, it kind of looks like one of those "pixelated" screens.

One nice feature is that you can play as fast as you want, able to adjust the game speed between Slow, Medium, Fast and Fastest. This game will never "pass you by."

Expert mode allows for the implementation of Autoplay, where you can deal out five or ten hands at a time automatically. Aside from analyzing your hands, you can also elect to get "Hints" if your play varies from that which is "optimal." You can do "Autohold," which allows for the software to act along the lines of that optimal strategy. The Double option is strong, because it afford the opportunity to simply collect winnings or "double up" by playing a showdown with the dealer.

As usual, it becomes a matter of "whatever floats your boat." But players who are the adventurous type will appreciate the chance to play all those hands at once, and will get an extra charge if the hand that starts the process is an especially strong one.
