WagerWorks is a software provider that does not offer as many online slot games as its major competitors. But what it lacks in quantity it more than makes up in quality. Many of the WagerWorks slots have unique innovative features that make them stand out. And WagerWorks does not repeat these features prolifically but keeps on inventing new ones.
If one has to select one WagerWorks landmark slot game it would be undoubtedly be Monopoly Here and Now. This is a branded slot based on the most popular board game ever. In fact WagerWorks has released three different slot games based on Monopoly. The unique features in this game are jackpot accumulators. In this game they take the form of Parking Meters. There are three Parking Meters of different colors that contain an initial value. Whenever a Parking Meter symbol appears on the reel the value in the corresponding Parking Meter is enhanced. When the bonus game is triggered the accumulated value in one of the Parking Meters is the jackpot that is at stake.
Dungeons and Dragons Crystal Caverns is another branded slot game from WagerWorks. It features characters from Wizards of the Coast. The innovative feature in this slot game is called Tumbling Reels. After the reels come to rest and the payouts are evaluated all symbols in winning combinations disappear. All vacant symbol positions on each reel are filled with symbols tumbling from above in sequence. The payouts are again awarded for symbols in winning combinations and are added to the credit meter. The Tumbling Reels feature remains active until no winning symbol combinations are created as a result of the reels tumbling. Da Vinci Diamonds is another WagerWorks slot game that has the Tumbling Reels feature. The crystal symbols in Crystal Caverns and the diamond symbols in Da Vinci Diamonds are visually ideal for the Tumbling Reels process.
Split symbols is the innovative feature introduced by WagerWorks in the online slot game Noah’s Ark. Because the theme is Noah’s Ark the symbols are some of the animals that were in the ark. Some times the animals appear in pairs in the symbol and some times individually. When they appear in pairs the symbol is a split symbol and counts as two. The payout table defines payouts for up to ten symbols. If all five symbols in a payline are pairs then it counts as if there are ten symbols in the payline and the payout is for ten symbols.
White Orchid has a unique betting mechanism. To start with there are four rows of symbols across the reels. At the basic level this slot game from WagerWorks has 40 paylines. Players can wager up to five coins per payline. Now by doubling the bet amount players can activate all possible 1024 paylines. This mechanism called Multiway by WagerWorks functions differently from the "all ways" mechanism in games of other software developers. There is a separate payout table for Multiway. If an identical symbol appears on the first four reels or on all five reels then a Multiway payout results. This payout is in addition to the normal 40 payline payout.
WagerWorks is a subsidiary of IGT, which is a leading provider of land based slot machines. And all the experience and expertise of IGT reflects in the slot games of WagerWorks.
