Customizing Vegas Technology Online Casinos

Vegas Technology software offers its players certain options so that they can play the online casino games in the manner that they want to. This process is referred to as customization and is done mainly through the options menu. In Vegas Technology software the options menu can be accessed in two ways. One is from the lobby of the casino and the other is from within each game. In the lobby the options menu is found on the top toolbar and within each game it is found on the bottom toolbar. Since players may want to customize different games differently, it is better to use the options menu within the games. This article discusses how players can customize different types of games.

Blackjack is a popular online casino table game. The options menu within the game allows players to customize sound, animation and screen size. By enabling Screen Resize players can play in the full screen mode. However blackjack does not have any specific advantage in the full screen mode because cards are clearly visible in the smaller screen as well. Therefore players who prefer to have the windows toolbars visible can play in the smaller screen. There are two sound options – game sound and background. Game sound includes the sounds of the cards being dealt, the dealer’s voices and the win sounds. New players especially should play with the game sound enabled because it helps them in understanding what is happening. The background sound plays background music throughout. Some players find this soothing and others find it distracting and hence this is a personal choice. There are four discrete volume settings for each sound option. The final customization option is animation. By disabling animation the process of dealing the cards is discontinued and the cards are shown face up on the table. It results in very fast game play. The animation also provides for three different card speeds. It is advised that players using animation play at the fastest possible speed. There is no purpose served in slowing down the game.

In slots games the same options menu appears. Slots being an audio visual game, it is advisable to enable Screen Resize and both sound options. The animation option can only be enabled or disabled. Disabling the animation option means that the reels do not spin and the new symbols appear instantaneously. Though this increases the pace of the game considerably it detracts from the pleasure of playing slots. Therefore at least new players should enable animations while playing slots.

Vegas Technology also offers another customization feature in its slots games and that is Auto Play. Many slots players like to wager repeatedly with the same betting options and Auto Play allows them to take a predetermined number of spins without having to manually activate the reels each time. However the Vegas Technology Auto Play option goes beyond this function. It allows the player to set the time gap between each spin. New players would need more time to figure out which lines have paid out what amount, whereas regular players can assess this faster. The player can program the Auto Play feature to stop it if a number of conditions are met. This include on any win, if a jackpot is won, if a win exceeds a preset amount, if the number of credits increases by a preset amount and if the number of credits decreases by a preset amount. These conditions become important if players are setting up Auto Play for a large number of spins during a period when they will not be watching the slot game.

Options galore isn't good but too few options isn't either I agree and beleive that having a good balance of options that make sense is the key to good online casino software.

I find that the options they offer to be plenty and that there really isn't that much else that I need in order to be comfortable playing or to make my life easier while playing.

Well four options and a few toggles to select between a few different options but all in all pretty straight forward. I'm not the biggest fan of Vegas Tech software though a much bigger fan of Microgaming and Playtech online casino software to be honest. If you're not restricted in playing there based on where you live I'd always recommend playing at a Micro or Playtech casino over VT.

Four options... it doesn't get much easier then that. I think that the fewer more usable options for players the better the software is going to be.

I would say of all the online casino software platforms out there that Vegas Technology casinos offer what I think to be the smallest selection of options out there. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing though. Sometimes too many options do you no good either. It's always going to be a balance of good options for uses and then an excess of options that are useless because players simply don't use them.

Customizing most online casino suites should be relatively straight forward. If it isn't easy then one of the main reasons that can be attributed to this is that the software simply hasn't been designed right. For example I really don't like the way that Top Game casino software works and consider them to be one of the worse providers out there.

I find that you don't really need all that many options when playing at online casinos and that the more options you have the more confusing that the software becomes to use and to function. I'm a bigger fan of the more minimalistic approach!

Features that allow you to customize your gaming expereince are important so long as they function well and do what they're supposed to. I've found several inconsistencies amongst the various software providers out there where things work in certain cases and where they don't but in all cases they should work. Anyways it's not as important as you might think when it comes to playing casino games that you have a set of rich features available for customizing options within the games.

The only features that I've used or use in Vegas Technology software are the changing of the speed for game play and the resizing of the window. I like to keep the sounds on while playing as I find it makes the gaming experience just that much better.

Customization features in online casinos are only worthy if they're meaningful and in most cases as far as what I've seen that's being offered by most of the online casino software providers out there they are and more then that they're useful and handy.

I definitely prefer playing at online casinos that have a good set of options. I find that most of the providers that are out there though have developed their software to offer options and configurable features that are pretty common and standard from one software provider to the next.

I like having the ability to customize certain things and definitely think that you guys are right in the sense that having fewer options is better then too many. I guess finding a balance of the most important options that players use most and incorporating them into the software is key and I think that's what they've done with the Vegas Technology platform.

Sometimes too many options are more of a burden then they are worth. I think that casinos could probably add so many more options if they want but they realize that players like the simplicity. I like the amount of options that are available within Vegas Technology software and don't really think they need much more then what they have in place currently.

Their options are pretty standard not as elaborate as what Microgaming or others have but sufficient to enjoy the casino experience but more importantly it's really easy to use and to configure the options while playing in Vegas Technology casinos at least from what I've found.
