The Cryptologic software is rich in features. There are three game speeds to choose from. The fastest speed eliminates the spinning animation altogether. The Auto Play feature works at two levels. The Advanced mode allows players to set the auto play to stop when a number of conditions are reached. Players can choose their avatars, set session time limits, enable or disable audio and animations and also choose lobby and game window settings.

Graphics & Sounds (8)

As Superman has an action theme much more was expected in the audio visual department. The introductory clip and the Save the Earth feature are excellent, but the base game has no background music and poor animations.

Theme and Concept (10)

Superman is the superhero of superheroes and full justice has been done to the theme. The symbols on the reels bring alive the Superman legend. His enemies are represented and so is his girl friend. His alter ego Clark Kent is absent, but then both Superman and Clark Kent cannot appear together. The Save the Earth feature is also typical Superman adventure. The expanding wilds in the free spins add to the thematic value of the slot game.
