The Casinomeister annual awards are a much awaited event in the online gaming industry. The awards started ten years ago with 15 categories. This year awards have been given in 40 categories for both best and worst performances. Announcing the awards Casinomeister said, "There are some really fantastic people that influence this industry in a most positive way, and there are a number that would be better off selling kitchen appliances."

The Best US Friendly Casino has been a popular award since the imposition of the UIGEA. After winning a host of other awards in earlier years 3Dice Casino won this big award for its performance in 2010. It was honored for some other awards as well by Casinomeister, namely Best Customer Service Award and Best Games Award.

The most prestigious of the Casinomeister awards is the Best Global Casino. Since 2003 this award has been won every year by 32Red online casino, and 2010 was no different. While announcing this award Casinomeister said, "The past few years have been frustrating for me because I've tried my damndest to not award best Global Casino to the same casino year after year...the thing is, if it's not them, then who is it?" The 32Red group also won the award for the Best Casino Group. The group has three other online casinos – Dash Casino, Ned Play and Golden Lounge. This was the first time 32Red has won the best casino group award, wresting it from the Club World Group.

New online casinos are launching all the time and it is of interest which one is picked by Casinomeister as the Best New Casino. This year the honor went to High Noon of the Club World group. High Noon joins an elite list of earlier recipients such as All Star Slots, Red Flush Casino, 3 Dice Casino and Club USA Casino. High Noon also won the award for the Best Named Casino of 2010. Casinomeister said that High Noon paints the perfect picture of a cowboy setting and is an ideal name for a Realtime Gaming casino that caters to American players.

A new award was introduced this year – The Ted Loh Humanitarian Award. Ted Loh was deeply associated with Casinomeister in a number of ways and was always ready to help those in need. Loh passed away this year and it was "only befitting to venerate his memory and efforts by honoring those who are determined to do the same sort of thing." The inaugural award went to the Calvin Ayre Foundation for mobilizing donations for the Haiti relief fund. The foundation matched the total collection by the rest of the online gaming industry.

The Best Software Supplier Award went to Microgaming. The last time that they had won this award was in 2006. Casinomeister said that this award was not only for producing great games but for listening to the players and responding to their wish list. The Best Affiliate Program of 2010 went to Affiliate Edge, which manages the online casino of the Club World Group.
