Austrian Lotteries to Add New Side Games

Austrian Lotteries has teamed with GTECH G2 Games and is planning to add new side games to its online casino channel, Win2Day.at. GTECH Corporation's i-gaming division has provided Win2Day.at with its poker software for the past two years. This new agreement will see an expansion of the business dealings between the two companies.

G2 is the digital gaming and sports betting sector of GTECH, the global lottery corporation. Austrian Lotteries and Casino Austria jointly operate Win2Day through a subsidiary.

Michael Rittmannsberger of the Austrian Lotteries stated: "G2 has earned our trust and respect since we've been working with them and they have a leading portfolio of games. So they were a logical choice as we develop our online offering."

Ulf Rehnström, Business Development Director, Government Markets said: "With the extensive i-gaming software and player management expertise we've gathered and our long-standing relationship with state lotteries, G2 is uniquely positioned to help this client extend its offering to include more online games."

Since February 2008, GTECH G2 has been providing the software for the poker games at the Win2Day.at site. The new settlement between the organizations will result in the launch of three of the most popular instant win games with the G2 games portfolio - Triple Chance hi-lo, Aztec Gold and Aces High.

The games that make up the portfolio of GTECH G2 include some that are developed by in-house development teams and some that are produced by other developers and integrated into their collection by use of G2's player centric Gaming Management System.

GTECH G2 is an interactive gaming portfolio that can provide a complete suite of core platform gaming engines to large or small customers. It offers all aspects of digital gaming and sports betting markets. Customers are able to pick and choose from their products or combine them for optimum performance. GTECH G2 is able to offer a successful product to operators who are only just entering the interactive gaming market, as well as those who already offer an established collection of interactive games. The GTECH G2 product portfolio includes casino, bingo, lottery, poker, sports betting, skill games and instant games, as well as back office and business solutions. GTECH combines with the software innovator, Boss Media; the provider of real time trading solutions, Finsoft; the service provider of Internet games, St Minver and the developer of digital instant and side games, Dynamite Idea.
