Not sure if you're all aware of this but it's pretty good I must say and definitely a huge accomplishment for Bodog that they recently got their domain www.bodog.com back from 1st Technology group a bunch of Patent trolls that managed to expropriate the domain name from Bodog a while back and were demanding a ridiculous figure something like 50 Million Dollars to get the domain back...

I just checked their domain I'm not sure why as I haven't played at Bodog for quite sometime but I decided to check it out and when I go to www.bodoglife.com it now redirects me to www.bodog.com. It's quite an accomplishment and I'm interested in hearing how they went about doing it.

Good job Bodog and way to not give up on what was rightfully yours to begin with! Hopefully this doesn't happen to them again in the future.

I know that they've been battling for a long time trying to get their domain back I even had a look at www.savebodog.com which was a cool concept trying to petition and get people on board so as to not let patent holders basically extort money from companies who have worked so hard to establish themselves such as in this case.

I hope this doesn't happen again with any other casino, poker or sports betting brands online.

The whole Kentucky debacle was an indicator that it was going to happen and even what's scarier is that it would be on a governmental level... It's good that this didn't get very far although it's still in the courts I doubt that there will be a favorable ruling in Kentucky that will allow them to actually expropriate domain names from their rightful holders.

Way to go to Bodog for getting their domain back that is great news!!!
