WagerWorks Launches Mobile Cleopatra Slot

WagerWorks is one of the leading online gaming software providers. Like many others in the industry it also provides software for the mobile gaming sector. Some of its well-known online slot games like Rainbow Riches, Ooh Aah Dracula, R.I.Peater, Elvis Top 20 and Hi-5 are already available on mobile phones. In a press release from its headquarters in London WagerWorks announced yesterday that its most popular online slot game, Cleopatra, will now be available on its mobile gaming platform.

Making this announcement WagerWorks conformed that there has been no loss of either graphics or audio or of any of the gaming features in transferring the Cleopatra video slot to the mobile format. The game will be available in the 5-reels, 20-paylines format. As in the online game the Cleopatra wild symbol will double payouts and the Sphinx scatter symbols will trigger the free spins bonus round that offers 15 free spins at tripled payouts.

Oliver Lofthouse, Director and General Manager at WagerWorks, pointed out that with the release of the mobile version Cleopatra has achieved a rare treble. The game originally gained its popularity in the land-based casino market before moving online. After establishing its place there it has now entered the mobile gaming market. According to Lofthouse this is an important milestone not only for WagerWorks but for the entire IGT Group. Lofthouse said, "This launch allows us to reach a much wider audience and paves the way for developing further top performing casino titles on mobile".

WagerWorks does not intend to rest on its laurels with this achievement. In another press release the company said that it will be exhibiting its full strength at the Global Gaming Expo 2009 (G2E) in Las Vegas in November. The showcase theme of WagerWorks at G2E is "Taking Gaming to the Next Level". In the recently released slot games like Dungeons and Dragons: Crystal Caverns and TRANSFORMERS: Ultimate Payback WagerWorks has introduced unique game play and new levels of player excitement. All these will be on display at G2E along with the complete suite of mobile games, including Cleopatra. Through this press release to Lofthouse stated, "WagerWorks will have the opportunity to demonstrate its ability to offer great game content across multiple remote gaming channels." WagerWorks also offers gaming content for interactive digital television to some of the leading players in the field such as Sky and Rank.

G2E is being held at Las Vegas from November 17 to November 19. The leading gaming operators from all over the world will be showcasing hundreds of new products.
