In a move that will please its players, Virgin Casino has announced that it has entered into a partnership with Microgaming, the leading software provider to the online gaming industry. This agreement will result in Microgaming Flash casino games being available to players at Virgin Casino through the Microgaming's pioneering Quickfire software.
During the coming months a large variety of games from Microgaming's portfolio of over 400 games will be available at Virgin Casino. The first game has already gone live. It is the popular online slot Thunderstruck. Thunderstruck is a five reel and nine payline video slot game. Despite being released many years ago it yet has some of the best graphics and audiovisual effects. Through boldly crafted symbols Thunderstruck brings to life the power of the Norse God Thor. Thor substitutes for other symbols, doubles payouts and offers a 10,000 coins fixed jackpot. His Rams offer 15 free spins at tripled payouts.
In order to celebrate the launch of this new game, Virgin Casino has offered a Thunderstruck Cash Back promotion this week. The promotion has started on June 21 and will run till June 25. Every day players can get cash back of 20% subject to an upper limit of £100 every day, which amounts up to £500 over the promotion period. All that players have to do is wager on Thunderstruck. Given the quality of the game this is a simple task. But to make it even easier Virgin Casino will allow players to wager on the other popular online slots for the purposes of winning the cash back. There is a list of exclusions that can be viewed at the promotions page at the Virgin Casino web site. The cash back will be calculated on the net loss made on a given day for wagers on the designated slot games and will be paid out the next day. The cash back can be fully withdrawn.
This tie up with Microgaming is consistent with Virgin Casino's strategy of offering a wide range of games content to its players. Though the basic software is from WagerWorks, Virgin Casino offers online casino games from Cryptologic, Fremantle and Ash Gaming. Elaborating on this strategy Simon Burridge, CEO of Virgin Casino said, "Our customers have told us that they want a wider range of games and specifically they would love to play Microgaming games as a part of the Virgin Games offering. The addition of Microgaming, the world leader in its field, is a big step forward for Virgin Games customers and we look forward to launching its games with a range of promotions over the coming months."
