Vegas Pai Gow Poker Review

Vegas Pai Gow Poker Payout Tables and Rules

Game Rules and Payout Details

Game Rules

Pai Gow Poker is played with a deck of the usual 52 cards and a joker. The joker is not a wild card except when used to complete a straight, a flush or a straight flush. In all other circumstances it is equivalent to an ace. Four aces and a joker rank higher than a royal flush. In bifurcating the hands care must be taken to ensure that the five card hand is ranked higher than the two card hand. The detailed hand rankings are available in the Help section.

There are three results possible. If the player’s high hand beats the dealer’s high hand and the player’s low hand beats the dealer’s low hand then the player wins. If one of the player’s hands beats the corresponding hand of the dealer and the other hand either loses or ties with the corresponding hand of the dealer then the bet is a push. In all other eventualities the player loses.

Because a large number of hands push the game can get boring.

Payout Schedule

If the player wins then he is paid even money less a 5% commission for the casino. If the bet is a push then the player’s wager is returned.
