Game Rules and Payout Details

Game Rules

Vegas Technology Caribbean Stud Poker is played with 5 standard decks. The player’s decision making starts after he sees his hand. If the player Folds then he loses his ante bet and the game is over. If the player Calls then the course of action depends on whether the dealer holds a qualifying hand. A qualifying hand is one that has an AK or a pair or better. If the dealer does not have a qualifying hand then the player wins even money on the ante and the bet is returned to him.

If the dealer has a qualifying hand and the dealer’s hand is of a higher rank than the player’s hand then the player loses the ante and the bet. If the dealer has a qualifying hand and the dealer’s hand is of a lower rank than the player’s hand then the ante is paid at even money and the bet is paid as per the payout table.

If the player has placed a progressive bet and has drawn a flush or better then the progressive bet is paid as per the progressive payout table.
