Thunderstruck opens with a short but powerful clip. Amid thunder, lightning and raging winds the dark clouds part and emerges Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, his golden hair flowing in the gale. The colors are bold and the lines are sharp and one can see, hear and feel the palpable power in the God. The theme of the slot is Thor and the symbols are the emblems we know him by. His Hammer, Scepter, Castle, Horn and Lightning are all there. The scatter symbols are his pair of Rams and Thor himself is the wild symbol. All the symbols on the reels evoke power through decisive and bold representations. The music has a strong beat and a fast tempo and wins are announced with a flourish. Some amazing animations accompany the winning combinations. Lightning is seen flashing and thunder is heard when the Rams offer scatter payouts. When Thor substitutes in winning combinations his hair starts flying in the wind. Thunderstruck offers two popular features. One is the free spins bonus round that is triggered by three or more Rams anywhere on the reels. The free spins offer tripled payouts and can be re-triggered. The second feature is the Gamble Feature. Players can opt for trying to double or quadruple their winnings instead of collecting them. In order to double the winnings players have to correctly guess the color of the hidden card and to quadruple the winnings they have to guess the suit of the hidden card. These features offer plenty of scope for payouts. Five scatter symbols anywhere on the reels lead directly of a payout of 45,000 credits at maximum total bet. I like this game but I'm surprised it's still considered to be one of the best games in the Microgaming library of casino games. They have over 300 games to play why does everyone play this game so much is my question. Some of their newer slots games that offer the re-trigger of free spins are far better IMO.

I too am a fan of casino games that offer the re-triggering feature during the free spins. Games where the free spin round can be re-triggered in addition to where the bonus round can be activated during the free spins bonus round are definitely my favorites.

The re-triggering of the free spins bonus rounds in this game IMHO would be a sure indication as to why this game is such a popular game and big hit with players. I know that myself I really enjoy playing games that offer such a feature. Additionally games that have a multiplier or wild multiplier make such games even more exciting. I think that judging by the graphics in this game though they could have done better. I think that it's a pretty good game I don't know what all the fuss is about with regards to it being among the top online casino games out there but all in all a good game that's fun to play!
