Many leading online casinos have two portals that offer casino games. One is a portal termed Casino which is on a software platform of a dedicated provider and offers games from only that provider. The other portal is termed Games and has casino games from a number of different providers. Playtech was one software developer that till now offered its casino games only on the dedicated platform. But keeping in mind the growing attraction of the Games portals, where players have a larger choice, Playtech has decided to offer selected games to Games portals. This cross platform approach is already being followed by Playtech competitors like Microgaming and Cryptologic.

In a press advisory from its headquarters at Isle of Man, Playtech has confirmed an agreement with Bet365. This agreement will see it supplying a pack of 24 premium games to the Games portal of Bet365. Playtech already offers its complete range of products to the Casino portal of Bet 365. The bulk of these games are branded online slots. Hulk, Iron Man, Blade and Fantastic Four have been taken from the Marvel Movies super hero series and are linked to the Marvel Mystery Jackpot. Rocky and Pink Panther are MGM branded slots. The other slot games include Gladiator, Top Trumps Football Legends and Frankie Dettori's Magic Seven. Several proven table games and video poker games are also in the pack.

Steve Ibberson, Managing Director - Gaming at Bet365 said, "We have always been extremely happy with the performance of Playtech's Casino content and wanted to offer the same games elsewhere to enrich our players' experience. Playtech has listened to its licensees and developed a solution for the deployment of its games across product, which can only enhance the standard of our Games Tab offering." Peter Cercone, Vice President of Marketing at Playtech, responded by stating that this decision taken by Bet365 confirms and recognizes the excellence of Playtech products.

Playtech has signed a separate agreement with Tain to provide its online casino products. Tain services small and medium sized gaming operators. For the past five years it has provided its licensees access to Playtech's iPoker network. With this agreement Tain's licensees will get access to a wide range of Playtech casino games that will include slots, table and card games and video poker games. Many of the landmark Playtech branded slots will also be covered. In addition the licensees will have access to a full range of management tools via Playtech's unified administration system, the IMS. This is a win-win deal for both. For Playtech, its products will reach a greater section of online casino players. Tain's customers will have access to Playtech games through Tain's cost-effective platform. These small operators would have otherwise not had the opportunity to access Playtech's technology platform or content.
