Realtime Gaming Pai Gow Poker Payout Tables and Rules

Game Rules and Payout Details

Game Rules

Real Time Gaming Pai Gow Poker is played with a 53 card deck that has a joker in addition to the standard cards. The joker is used as a wild card only when completing a straight, a flush or a straight flush. Otherwise the joker is to be considered as an ace. The highest five card hand consists of four aces and a joker. An important rule is that the five card hand should have a higher ranking than the two card hand. New players can get the hand rankings from the Help section.

Each hand can end in three results. If the player’s five card hand is higher ranked than the dealer’s five card hand and the player’s two card hand is higher ranked than the dealer’s two card hand then the player wins. If one of the player’s hands is higher ranked than the corresponding hand of the dealer and the other hand is lower ranked or is of the same rank than the corresponding hand of the dealer then the bet is a push and the player is returned his wager. In all other cases the player loses.

Payout Schedule

If the player wins then he is paid out at 1 to 1 less a 5% commission for the casino. If the bet is a push then the player’s wager is returned. Real Time Gaming Pai Gow Poker rounds off the commission to multiple of 0.25. The commission on a wager of 1.00 should be only 0.05 but the casino will claim 0.25. Hence it makes sense to wager in multiples of 5.00.
