Progressive Jackpot Video Poker

Usually video poker games have fixed payouts as per the given payout table. The payout for a natural royal flush at max bet is greater in proportion to the other payouts and is referred to as the jackpot payout. However, this payout too is fixed. With progressive jackpot slots offering ever increasing jackpot payouts, video poker players also wanted a similar scheme in their games. Therefore many of the online gaming software providers have provided video poker games with progressive jackpots.

As usual Microgaming has taken the lead. It has two of the highest paying progressive jackpot video poker games. One is SupaJax. SupaJax is based on the Jacks or Better video poker game. The largest fixed payout is 3,000 coins. Since the wager denomination is fixed at $1, this payout is $3,000. To win the progressive jackpot prize players need to wager $5 and then draw 4 jacks along with the special SupaJax card. At the time of writing the progressive jackpot stands at $43,788, which is the highest reached in the last one year. In the last year the progressive jackpot has been hit 17 times at an average of $29,348. The second Microgaming video poker progressive jackpot is Jackpot Deuces. In this game the jackpot is hit by drawing a diamond royal flush. Currently the progressive jackpot stands at $33,032. In the last year the progressive jackpot has been hit 66 times at an average of $26,835.

Playtech also offers two progressive jackpot video poker games. One is 10-Line Jacks or Better. This is a simple 10 line Jacks or Better game with the progressive jackpot being hit by any royal flush at maximum bet on the first line only. This line is shown much larger than the other lines on the screen. A royal flush on the other lines pays out at 4,000 coins. The progressive jackpot stands at $11,845. In the last year it has been hit 39 times at an average of $13,173. Megajacks is the other progressive video poker game from Playtech. This is a single line game with the progressive jackpot being hit when a royal flush is drawn at max bet. It was just hit for $999 a few hours ago. In fact the jackpot hits almost every day. The highest payout in the last year has been $5,085 with the average at $1,547.

The Cryptologic progressive jackpot video poker game is called Super Jackpot. It is not as popular because the base game pay table is the 8/5 one against the usual 9/6 one. Like the Playtech games, Super Jackpot hits the progressive with a royal flush at max bet. At the time of writing the progressive jackpot stands at $5,373. In the last year the progressive jackpot has been hit 19 times at an average of $7,641.
