PayPoint is an Internet payment service provider that has been in business for over 12 years. It directly provides services to online casinos and also offers prepaid voucher services to Ukash and paysafecard customers from its 23,000 retail outlets in the United Kingdom. PayPoint services include FraudGuard, one of the most advanced online fraud management systems on the market.

PayPoint has recently launched the latest version of the fraud management system, FraudGuard 4. One of the advantages of this is that it can be supplied as a separate product independent of its payment services. The leading online casino operator 32Red has been one of the first customers for FraudGuard 4. 32Red operates a highly awarded online casino powered by Microgaming along with other online gambling products. Earlier this week 32Red announced that it has selected the robust risk management platform FraudGuard 4 from PayPoint to provide security to its casino and poker players.

FraudGuard 4 will assess all the online financial transactions at 32Red emanating from its worldwide customer base. It is expected that this will reduce the operating risks and improve customer service and cash flow at the Microgaming powered online casino. FraudGuard 4 offers powerful and highly flexible real-time functionality, along with quick and intuitive web-based configuration and reporting. This real-time service can be tailored to the specific requirements of 32Red. It will enable the online gambling operator to make quick decisions when analyzing the risk potential of a transaction. The installation of FraudGuard 4 will also mean that more valid transactions can be identified and accepted. The fraud prevention system will provide 32Red with the efficiency of multi-level fraud screening that can tackle a range of abuse with more complex velocity controls.

Pat Harrison, Operations Director of 32Red, said, "We chose PayPoint.net as our fraud protection provider simply because, in our eyes, FraudGuard 4 is the best in the market. It offers unparalleled flexibility in assessing risk, so we can accept more payments while maintaining stringent risk controls." He added that FraudGuard 4 would offer 32Red immense competitive advantage by being able to contain risks and respond fast to customers thereby providing more efficient customer service.

Michael Norton, Managing Director of PayPoint, said, "Having flexible, real-time payment and fraud management processes means gaming companies can give a better service to more players and protect themselves from fraud." He pointed out that by assigning this important online casino function to FraudGuard 4, 32Red will be able to free its internal resources to focus on its core business. He also said that PayPoint is constantly enhancing and evolving FraudGuard based on the feedback from clients, so 32Red can expect improved fraud prevention services in the future.
