At Rival Gaming online casinos Pai Gow Poker is listed under Table Games as Pai Gow. The game follows the standard rules that are prevalent at other online casinos. It differs in the features available.
The minimum wager that a player has to make is $1 and a maximum wager that a player can make is $250. Chips of denominations $1, $5, $10, $25 and $100 are displayed on the edge of the table and players can place wagers by clicking on the chips of the appropriate denominations. For example if a player wants to wager $6 then he will have to click the $1 chip once and the $5 chip once. This places the two chips in the area marked Bet. Rival Gaming online casinos do not provide a button for withdrawing the wagers. Wagers have to be withdrawn by right clicking the chips placed in the Bet area.
Once the wager is placed the Deal button is displayed. Clicking on this button deals seven cards face up to the player and seven cards face down to the dealer. The dealer's cards are prearranged in the Highest and the Second Highest hands. The Highest hand consists of five cards and the Second Highest hand consists of two cards. The player is now required to separate his seven cards into the Highest and Second Highest hands. As per the rules of Pai Gow Poker the Highest hand has to have a higher hand ranking than the Second Highest hand.
In Rival Gaming online casinos the player is given two options for splitting his cards into the two hands. In the first option he can click on the two cards that he wants in the Second Highest hand. Alternatively he can click on the House Way button, which splits the cards according to the rules of Pai Gow Poker and in a manner that gives the player the best chance of winning. The player then clicks on the Play button to proceed with the game. If the player had split the cards without using the House Way and had made a mistake then the Play button will not be displayed and the player will have to split the cards again in a different way. The player can click on the chosen cards in order to cancel his choice. When the Play button is clicked the dealer's hands are exposed. The software compares the dealer's Highest hand with the player's Highest hand and the dealer's Second Highest hand with the player's Second Highest hand. The payouts are made as per the rules of Pai Gow Poker. If the player wants to repeat the same wager he can click the Rebet button. Or he can place a fresh wager by clicking the chips as described earlier.
Rival Gaming online casinos provide a certain customization options in the Pai Gow Poker game. These options can be accessed through the Options button in the bottom left of the screen. The options provide for two card dealing speeds, slow and medium. Players can enable the full screen option if they want to play the game in the full screen mode. There is an audio available which consists of background music and game sounds. Players can enable or disable this audio as per the requirement. The audio does not have dealer’s voices. The players can also adjust the volume of the audio.
