Neteller Introduces New Features

In the recently announced annual iGB Affiliate Awards, the award for the Best Payment System went to Neteller. It is not difficult to see why. All through last year Neteller has been introducing improvement after improvement and it is continuing to do so.

One of the recent features announced late last month is a Refer a Friend program. If a current Neteller user helps a friend get his own electronic wallet, then both the user and the friend can earn extra cash. Whenever the referred friend starts using his electronic Wallet, the current user gets a bonus of 20% of the first deposit, subject to a maximum of €16. And the friend also gets a bonus of 10% of his first deposit, up to a maximum of €8. In order to avail of this feature the user has to sign in to his Neteller account. Then he has to select the "Rewards" link from the left-hand menu, provide the e-mail addresses of up to five friends with a personalized message and select "Send e-mail". The friends will receive an e-mail invitation to create and fund a Neteller account. If the friends do the needful, then the rewards accrue. There is no limit to amount of bonuses that can be earned and no fees for referring a friend.

The other new feature is free money transfers. Neteller is dropping the fees for money transfer to 0%, from the standard rate of 1.9%, for all customers. This applies whether the Neteller user is sending money internationally or domestically. Neteller users can transfer funds to anyone as long as they have an e-mail address for the recipient, even if the recipient does not have an electronic wallet. Foreign exchange fee will be charged where applicable.

The third feature, introduced by Neteller just this month, is Reward Points. Users will have to opt in to this scheme. Then they will earn points every time they move money through the electronic wallet, including for funding of online casino accounts. One point will be earned for every US dollar or equivalent. The points can be redeemed for items in the points catalogue, like tablets, televisions, GPS units, sporting goods and even cash. There is no cost to opt in and no fees charged.

In its latest message Neteller says that its VIP program is five years old and has over 10,000 members. Based on the feedback that it has received from these members, Neteller has launched an all new, better than ever VIP Program. There are four tiers of VIP members - Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. A member's level will be based upon his account activity. The benefits include fraud protection, a second account in another currency, free withdrawals and cash back.

Apart from funding online casinos securely and conveniently, Neteller now offers a host of additional benefits.
