WagerWorks is a leading gaming software provider to the online casino industry. It has reported that Betfair has commissioned it to provide additional games. Betfair is a leading online gambling operator based in the United Kingdom that offers a range of products such as poker and sports betting. Online casino games are offered at Betfair Arcade.

WagerWorks offered its first set of games to Betfair way back in September 2008. These were supplied through the Orbis Fixed Odds Gaming Framework (FOGF) platform that Betfair employs. The first games were those that had built WagerWorks' reputation as a casino games software developer. It included the branded games based on the most popular board games of all times - Monopoly with Pass "Go" Bonus and Cluedo. The other two games were Cleopatra and Wheel of Fortune Hollywood Edition. At that time Tom Kenny, Commercial Director of WagerWorks, had said, "We are confident that our games will further enhance Betfair's customers' experience, helping to increase customer recruitment and retention, betting turnover and profitability." The repeat order from Betfair has vindicated his confidence.

Ca$hino, the first of the new WagerWorks games at Betfair Arcade, was released on March 9. The second game was Rainbow Riches, which went live on March 23. One new game is expected to be released every fortnight up to June 29, which means 7 more games. Neither Betfair nor WagerWorks have revealed the names of the forthcoming titles. The teaser at Betfair Arcade says, "You didn't think we would give it away that easily, did you?!? To find out which new games we have brought you on a fortnightly basis, come back here or visit the New Games Area and, rest assured, you'll find some doozies!!!" Rainbow Riches is an Irish themed slot game with leprechauns offering pots of gold in the bonus game. Ca$hino includes a popular roulette feature and a free spins bonus round.

Betfair Arcade manager, Stuart Banks explained the reason for choosing WagerWorks games. He said, "Our relationship with Wagerworks started well over a year ago and the performance of their games on Betfair Arcade has been outstanding. The great brands that they work with really appeal to Betfair's customers." His opinion is backed by the usage statistics for WagerWorks games, which have shown a high daily spins rate.

WagerWorks has derived many of its popular online casino slots from existing land based games. This is one of WagerWorks' core strength. Citing the success of these latest releases Oliver Lofthouse, director and general manager at WagerWorks said, "The performance of these latest releases again reiterates the advantage we have from bringing proven land-based game titles to the online space, ensuring our games excite players and add value to our partners from the outset."
