Roulette Royale Progressive Review

Roulette Royale is a very special featured game that is part of the suite of gaming offerings developed and designed by Microgaming, which is perhaps the most well-known and well-respected name in the world of casino software.

The game is just like any other game of roulette, with a few exceptions. It is modeled on the standard European roulette game, in which only one zero (as opposed to the American version with both a zero and double zero) appears on the wheel, and on the layout.

It is also a game that offers a progressive jackpot, which makes it very, very different from the standard roulette game, whether American OR European.

Like all the other games that come by way of Microgaming, Roulette Royale has clear, vivid graphics, and an easy-to-use interface that makes the experience as trouble-free as possible. Read Full Review

Full Review - Roulette Royale Progressive (7.34)

Microgaming gives players the opportunity to make plenty of adjustments to the "atmosphere," whether it be controlling the sounds that are heard during the course of play, or the speed at which the wheel spins. There is also the "Expert" mode, which features Autoplay and "neighbor bets."

Most people who gamble, especially in the United States, are familiar with the "American" version of roulette, in which there is a zero (0) and double zero (00). both on the wheel itself and on the table layout, where wagers can be placed.

The European version is characterized by a difference that seems subtle but is meaningful, in that there is a single zero on the wheel. The double zero is not employed. This increases the percentages of the even, odd, red or black numbers to come in, since there are less total numbers that the ball can land on. Roulette Royale is played with the European version of roulette as its basis.

The objective for the player is to make a wager, whether it be on a single number, a series of numbers, or a "group" bet covering several numbers, that will in some way match the number that comes as a result of the spin of the wheel.

Obviously there is an additional angle in Roulette Royale, in that it is a "progressive" game; in other words, it offers a special jackpot that consists of monies that are attributed to it during the long-term course of play. There is one credit per game is taken and bet automatically, which is dedicated to the jackpot. The player has to have five consecutive hits on the same number to win the big jackpot. Yes, that's an unlikely feat. But of course, that's why the jackpots are always so big. And besides, there are also jackpots for hitting two, three or four numbers in a row
