Ever since Microgaming released its new version, Viper, it has been adding on to its impressive tally of online casino games every month. This month Microgaming has released two new online video slots that are now being offered by several Microgaming casinos.

The first online slot is Jolly Jester, which is a video slot with a medieval theme. The features include 5 reels, 25 paylines, a "gamble" feature, free spins and a bonus game. The bonus game is appropriately called the Jolly Jester Feature. This game is activated when three or more scatter symbols, which are castles, appear on the screen. The bonus round is played out in a courtyard of the castle. There the player finds 9 boxes, 3 of which have Free Spin symbols, 3 have Jester symbols and 3 have Castle symbols. The player keeps opening boxes till he gets 3 of a kind. 3 Free Spin symbols give the player 10 free spins with multipliers increasing from 1x to 10x. 3 Jesters also give 10 free spins, but during these free spins the King and Queen symbols become substitutes for the Jester symbol and the prizes are doubled. 3 castles again give 10 free spins, but in this case the King and Queen symbols become substitute for the Castle scatter symbol and the prizes are again doubled. In the Jolly Jester gamble feature players can double or quadruple their win. In this feature players have the option to choose a color from red and black or one of the four playing card suits. The second video slot game is Big Kahuna Snakes & Ladders. This is a sequel to the Big Kahuna slot game. Sequels to existing popular games are a new trend in the online slot industry. This online slots has 15 paylines, free spins and a bonus game called Snakes & Ladders. The bonus round is activated when the snake symbol appears on reels 1, 3, and 5. In the game players are given 5 dice. Each roll takes the player further on the game board towards higher multiplier values. If the player lands on the bottom of a ladder he climbs it to the top and if he lands on a snake's mouth he moves backwards to its tail. A first roll of a 6 on any die gives the player an extra roll. If the player reaches the Kahuna's mask at the end of the board he wins 100 times the original bet. Otherwise the multiplier is the square they are on at the end of their 5 rolls. The Big Kahuna Snakes & Ladders symbol is the wild symbol but it does not substitute for the snake symbol.
