Software (9)

Things are very functional in this piece of software, as are most of these game designed by the people at Microgaming. You know, they have developed a reputation as a company that brings the utmost in safety and security to the table for the player. The layout of the game is relatively straight-forward, and there are the usual options on Microgaming video slots, which includes the AutoPlay and Quick Spin functions, and the ability to switch over to Expert Mode.

Easy to Understand (8)

This game could best be characterized as one that is pretty basic; there is only one wild and one scatter; however, the details of the Prime Property Bonus Game may be a tough to understand, and takes some study. However, as we often say - it's slots, so how hard could it really be?

Graphics & Sounds (7)

Unlike some games that are developed by other people, no one is going to have any problem seeing the game components, symbols, etc. very clearly. The buttons for selecting the number of coins and paylines (as well as the "Bet Max" button) are very big and can't be missed. The graphics are not very stylish, however, and the soundtrack is not all that special.

Theme and Concept (8)

The theme is okay, although, given recent economic events, it does not appear to be that timely. Perhaps a "foreclosure" symbol would have been appropriate, along with a greedy politician looking for campaign contributions from sub-prime mortgage lenders. Or maybe a "bailout" bonus game? Are we kidding? Only a little bit.

Game Features (6)

There are several features to take advantage of in game play itself, such as AutoPlay, available in Expert Mode, which helps you minimize your interaction with the software, if that is something that would make the game easier and/or more convenient. There is one bonus game featured - the Prime Property Bonus Game - where you can accumulate quite a few free spins and up to an 8x multiplier.

Betting Options (9)

In Prime Property there is a minimum coin size of .01, with a maximum of 0.25. That is not a great bet spread, but what makes up for it is that you can enable up to 40 paylines that can be enabled. More paylines means there are more ways for players to win. The maximum wager to 200 coins.

Jackpots (7)

Well, this is top-heavy, to some extent. For example, the highest payout on a regular symbol that is used in this game is the Prime Property symbol (which is the wild), as it will yield 12,000 coins for five in an enabled payline. Go one notch down (to four) and that figure dips all the way down to 750 coins. The Jo-Anne (2000) and Mike (1500) symbols don;t pay badly for five in a payline.
